Introduction

This traditional market is located near Incheon International Airport and has some famous dramas’ filming locations (such as Songdo Central Park and Jayu Park), which makes it a popular spot for international and domestic tourists across different generations.
Inside the market, you can find a sculpture in the shape of a Singitongbo Coin (inspired by a traditional token called yopjeon) and a Baseball Museum dedicated to the SK Wyverns Baseball Club in Incheon.
Offering a variety of delicious food and interesting events, Singi Market has become one of the most famous traditional markets in Incheon.
You will find it particularly fun to make a payment with Singitongbo Coins, which can be used only in the market. Please note that 1 Singitonbo Coin is worth KRW 500. Since the yopjeon itself can be a meaningful souvenir for foreign visitors, Singitongbo Coins have become an effective marketing tool to raise the market’s reputation.
